Issue 1 - March 2011

From the Editors Desk

GavinWelcome to the first issue of The Responder, Be Safe Paramedical's official newsletter. The idea behind the newsletter is to improve on our communication with our clients and the general healthcare fraternity.

As a family business we believe that our family commitments extend far beyond the walls of our offices and are embedded in our products, products you selflessly use to care for the multitude of patients who call for help. We thank you and salute you for your continued support and your commitment to caring for the sick and injured.

The New Year has arrived and we would like to wish all our readers a healthy and prosperous 2011. We believe that 2011 holds some exciting new products for us and ultimately for you too. We have been hard at work developing a new range of pre-packed disposable products marketed under the trade name CritiPack™.

The concept revolves around providing you with a complete range of disposable emergency care kits that will remain consistent in both quality and contents. The focus is on ensuring ease of use, minimising space usage in your emergency vehicle/clinic, maximising hygiene and reducing scene time by making sure you have everything you need at hand to perform a particular emergency skill.

This first edition of The Responder is packed with some interesting reading. One of the major developments being watched with interest by the international healthcare community is the release of the new ILCOR CPR Guidelines. Check out the article in this edition with the major changes in the 2010 guidelines.

I would like to wish you happy reading and to encourage you to continue providing healthcare par excellence to all patients in the spirit of Ubuntu (the essence of being human).

Yours in Healthcare
